2021 eChapter Grant Winner
In 2020, the eChapter Research & EBP Support Committee developed a process to support eChapter members pursuing research and EBP projects by awarding (1) research and (1) EBP grant annually.
With great pride, we awarded the first grant to Victoria Hornbeck, BSN, RN, CNOR of Northside Hospital in Dawsonville, Georgia. Victoria's EBP project involved implementing ATP testing to evaluate and improve OR cleaning practices. Her poster #112 ATP Testing in the Operating Room: From Metrics to Motivation was accepted for display at the 2021 AORN Expo.
