eChapter is the electronic environment to engage and empower perioperative nurses

AORN members, Renee Guerra, Becky Oviatt, and Howard Shelley, in 2001 when electronic communication had become popular enough that it cold be managed without extensive technical skills, convinced AORN to start an electronic chapter for members who could not participate in a local chapter and those who wanted more involvement than the Members At Large community provides.
