Members…

eChapter is in the midst of a huge reorganization of sorts this year. Your Board and I have been extremely busy tasked with “how to best serve YOU, our members”. In this respect each and every Board Member has stepped up and is filling multiple roles on the Board and within our committee structure to identify and discuss potential issues, and develop a strategic plan that we can use to move eChapter forward as the leader in electronic organization, communication, and education within AORN.

One of the issues we have is a lack of member participation in our committee structure. We rely on you, our members, to participate in the committee process to get a sense of what the needs are while also contributing to easing the work load in each of our committees.

We have several committees that are looking for member participation. If you have an interest in assisting eChapter, and becoming involved with the actual process of planning, decision making, and implementation of ideas, we would appreciate your involvement.

You can fill out an application for Committee work on our current website, or you can email me at echapter@gmail.com and I will forward your request on to the appropriate Committee Chair.
